Shipping, Returns & Cancellation Policy

Domestic shipping fees of ₹100 are applicable for orders priced upto ₹999. Free shipping on all orders above ₹1000. International shipping fees are chargeable at a flat rate of ₹1500. All orders are shipped by a reputed shipping company. If your location is not serviced by our courier service providers, we will ship the order by India Post.

Please note: Customs Duty may be applicable on your package for international shipments and will be payable by the Buyer. The fee amount will vary based on the order value and country regulations.

Note: Our courier partners will make 2-3 attempts to deliver the product(s). If they fail on each account for whatever reason, the package will be returned to us. To re-ship the order, an additional shipping fee will be applicable. This fee is not negotiable and we urge The Buyer to be available for the delivery or inform us beforehand in case of any special circumstances. No refunds will be offered for undelivered shipments past 30 days from placing the order.

In case the package has been marked as delivered but the Buyer hasn't received it, please notify us within 48 hrs of receiving the delivery notification or delivery date to raise an investigation against the same. The Black Canvas and our delivery partners will not be responsible for any loss of goods if there is a delay in notifying us.

Return Policy

Return
Definition: ‘Return’ is defined as the action of giving back the item purchased by the Buyer to The Black Canvas on the The Black Canvas website. The Buyer may Return a product only if the following situations arise:

1. Item was defective
2. Wrong item was sent by the Seller

You can return your purchase within 7 days of receiving the order by sending us an email to info@theblackcanvas.in with your Order #. You will need to ensure that the item reaches us safely, intact, in an unused condition, with all its original packaging and accessories. On inspecting the returned item, we will process a refund or exchange for the products returned. Please note, all shipping charges are non-refundable. If the product is not returned in its original condition, the Buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

We encourage the Buyer to review the listing before making the purchase decision. In case Buyer orders a wrong item, Buyer shall not be entitled to any return/refund. A return shipping fee of Rs. 100 - 250 for domestic shipments may be applicable on orders depending on the weight & value of the shipment. The fee will be decided by our team on a case-to-case basis.

No returns will be accepted for International shipments. A Credit Note of the product value may be processed in such a case after providing proof of damage or defect. International shipping fees are non-refundable.

Personalised items with custom name or initials are NOT eligible for a return, refund or exchange. In the event the product received is unsatisfactory or an incorrect item has been sent, please contact us immediately within 48 hrs of delivery. A solution may be offered by our team on a case-to-case basis.

Cancellation of order

You can cancel your order before the product has been shipped by sending us an email with your Order #. An order cannot be cancelled once it has already been dispatched from our warehouse or personalisation has been processed for a custom item.

Once you request the cancellation of item(s) in your order, it will take us a maximum of 2-3 business days to cancel the order and initiate a refund, and it may take up to 7-10 business days for the respective banks to process the refund. You will be notified of the initiation of the refund. Please get in touch with the banks directly in case of any delays post confirmation of cancellation/refund by The Black Canvas.
